Thu, 19 - Plate&Bowl
Thu, 26 - Cup&Saucer
All the workshops start at 7 p.m.
Enjoy two hours in a ceramics studio with a glass of wine, making some pieces yourself!
Sounds fun.
We offer an introduction to a basic technique called slab building. It is enough to make a plate or a bowl yourself on our Plate&Bowl Workshop. This is a typical entry-level technique used by many ceramists. We also offer a Mug&Saucer workshop, which is just a bit more advanced workshop. We created it as a new experience for many of you who enjoyed our workshops and wanted to return. Still, it can be your first workshop if you follow our guidance carefully.
Solo set. We've gathered the impressions you shared and created a new workshop. Of course, playing with colors is both fun and beneficial. That's why we still have our regular workshops. But the time spent in coloring can also be consumed in meditative shaping. In the Solo Set Workshop, we work with a new clay in a beige shade that features elegant, tiny black dots. We've translated some parts of the Sushi Set Workshop, such as decorating techniques, i.e., carving, into this workshop to make this meditative atmosphere even more enjoyable. So, spending two and a half hours making a set just for yourself makes sense! This set consists of a 20cm plate, a big bowl ideal for anything from cereals and salads to a proper homemade dish, and a small dips or ice cream bowl.
Vase. Your own handmade will stand about 20cm tall, and will be made from gray clay embedded with fine black pebbles. This earthy, rustic creation will be yours to decorate with added clay pieces. It is solely to your imagination what it will be after we present you with some limitations of the material that are not harsh at al. The session lasts two hours.
Kids&Parents workshop is our special one which always attracts a lot of interest. Check the link for more info.
Generally, we offer workshops thrice a month, almost always on Thursday evenings at 7 p.m.
(Our first workshop was in October 2016.)
