  Boya and architect Marko Babić worked together on wall installations that showcase the perspectives of both art and architecture.

 

Typically, for a ceramist, I'm a pretty introverted personality. I don't have that locally dominant south-European temper. TKV is fireworks! She is a spray bottle intentionally pierced to spread the content faster and differently. 

When you buy a Boya piece, you will receive many other nice touches from us. These differ in purpose and content but they all share one important fact – we want to communicate with you! We want to know what you have purchased from us. We would like you to know how it was made. And we want you understand why it was made.

One of the numerous designs I made is the 2020 Carved Edition - Petra, Simone and Krema cups. I really wanted to take it up a notch and create something different and fresh.

Slow pace but strong feel. A lot of character, short but strong sentences.

We spent one sunny October day in Kosmaj. We were collecting herbs and I was listening about Danijela's love for that environment. There was no way back, I was going with herbal figurations. After more than a month of testings ,we came up together with these pieces you see on the photos.

A century old fabrics that ended in our hands is full of traces of the woman that wove it. We read their messages from these. Only dirty and tired hands can bring the beauty. They would be happy to know that we are living their dream, a life with much more time for ourselves. 

Being gentle to yourself is the precondition for being strong. Such an harmonious meeting of two contrasts is nature of porcelain.

I believe that open and direct contact gives me possibility to carefully listen and have a dance-like communication with a client. Well Bojana, not this time.

Gathering friends around the table over a simple meals is what winter is all about. Coziness and  laughter. Making memories.
