Like noir movies, you know? Slow pace but strong feel. A lot of character, short but strong sentences. Nothing shiny but fine matte. Like a real coffee ritual.
Sweet tension when the ritual is for two in love, calmness when for one or for a few friends.
Limited edition made of two types of porcelain. The cups are made of Black Ice porcelain. Porcelain colored with the special technique by the producer to get that deep black nuance. Only the interior of a cup is glazed.
Saucers are made of British Audrey Blackman porcelain known for its milky nuance. They are wheel-thrown so are of more tranquil appearance and regular shape. They are glazed on the upper side and are having that nice dent in the middle to hold the cup steady.
When you buy a Boya piece, you will receive many other nice touches from us. These differ in purpose and content but they all share one important fact – we want to communicate with you! We want to know what you have purchased from us. We would like you to know how it was made. And we want you understand why it was made.
We have spent one sunny October day in Kosmaj. We were collecting herbs and I was listening about Danijela's love for that environment. There was no way back, I'm going with herbal figurations. After more than a month of testings we came up together with these pieces you see on the photos.
