There is something mysteriously calming about these surfaces that make me think of exotic nut-shells, coral reefs, the tranquility of the ocean depths. Each of these bowls took a lot of time to carve but they also made me wander off. As always, when we immerse into such a process the result is rewarding. Thinking of the process, I could be making these carvings all the time! The time stops, the thoughts seize. There is only now.
